Support, Change and Training

All CamSIS users who have responsibility for updating CamSIS play a vital role in maintaining accurate, timely, and secure student data for the University of Cambridge. They are responsible for making sure all relevant data is input into CamSIS in a timely manner to ensure CamSIS is the single point of truth for student data, to ensure compliance, and to assist with the safeguarding of students.

To that end, we offer a range of support and training options - select from the table below and follow the guidelines given.

Weekly releases

We release fixes and new features every Tuesday morning during the vulnerable period. The system remains available unless explicity stated below.

Vulnerability periods

Every Tuesday and Thursday between 06:00-09:00 is designated as a vulnerable period, meaning the system may be briefly unavailable at any time as a result of system maintenance.

More significant work may take up the whole of the vulnerability period. Emails are sent to the CamSIS bulletin list with specific timings closer to the date.
