Mandatory fields

On some search pages where the search operator is equals (=) the fields have an asterisk next to them suggesting that they are mandatory. This is not necessarily the case. We have raised this issue with the software provider. If you try to search without a mandatory field completed then the field will be highlighted red so you will be able to see which fields are required.
